"The Regeneration of Man"
Origin:
The Maltese Cross, also known as the Regeneration Cross, dates back
to the Crusades. It was first displayed by the Knights of St. John
of Jerusalem who protected Christian pilgrims traveling to the Holy
Land.
Symbolism:
The eight outer points symbolize the regeneration of man and also
the eight Beatitudes.

Origin: The Cross Entrailed originates

heraldry.

steps on which it stands is taken from the Cross Graded, also known
as the Calvary Cross. In descending order, they represent Faith,
Hope, and Love.

"Eternal
Kingdom"
Origin: The Cross of Iona, also known
as Celtic or Irish Cross, was used by Celtic Christians of old. An
example of this form can be found on the Isle of Iona off
western Scotland.
Symbolism: The circle associated with
this cross signifies eternity. The square hole at the junction which
has been rotated 45 degrees was derived from the Cross
Quartered-Pierced and is symbolic of our Lord's spear
wound.

"Passion For His People"
Origin: The Cross Aiguisee or Cross
Equisee, which is a decorative cross, and The Passion Cross, also
known as the Cross Urdee, Cross Champain, Cross Pointed, and Cross
of Suffering, which is usually observed in heraldry.
Symbolism: The Cross Aiguisee
signifies the Passion our Lord Jesus Christ has for His people. His
sufferings and Maundy Thursday or Good Friday are represented by the
Passion Cross, while the square hole at the junction, which has been
rotated 45 degrees, was derived from the Cross Quartered-Pierced and
is symbolic of our Lord's spear wound. The Lord's resurrection, now
through which our resurrection to eternal life is sealed, is
expressed with the Easter
Lily.

Origin: The Cross Demi-Fleurs-de-Lis
is a purely decorative cross. The Latin Cross or Crux Immissa is the
most commonly used form today and has almost countless heraldic
variations dating back before the time of Christ. By some, it
is said to be the true form on which the Savior died and can be
displayed by any religious group that declares a belief in Jesus
Christ and His atoning death.
Symbolism: The Fleur-de-Lis is a
customized lily and stands for the Virgin Mary, the human nature of
Christ, and the Annunciation. The cross center is composed of two
interwoven love knots representing the love God has shown to us
through his son Jesus Christ, and the love mothers's have for their
children.

Origin: The Cross Barbee is a
prominent heraldic variant.
Symbolism: The Cross Barbee is
symbolic of the ICHTHUS or IXOYE symbol of our Lord. IXOYE is
the Greek word for fish whereas each letter stands for a word in
itself. I = Jesus, X = Christ, O = God's, Y = Son, E = Savior;
read "Jesus Christ, God's Son, Savior." The arms, which
terminate in barbed fish hooks or fish spears, suggest the bible
phrase "fishers of men."

July - "Victory for All
Nations"
Origin: The Cross Circular Base found
in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem.
Symbolism: It's true meaning is
unclear, however, it is believed to signify the triumph of the Cross
over earthly power. Four different shapes and the colors, Black
Brown, Chickory, Sportsman Flesh, and Tan applied thereto, were
chosen by the artist to symbolize the nations of the world. Blue
Violet, Christmas Red, Emerald Green, Royal Blue, Sea Green,
Tangerine, Topaz, and Violet were chosen to represent the royalty of
Jesus Christ and the beauty of the Cross on which He died, "Once for
All."

"Penitence and Forgiveness"
Origin: The Tau Cross, also known as
St. Anthony's Cross or Crux Commissa and many others, is an
ancient and heraldic cross. It is believed to be the cross
form that Moses lifted the serpent with in the wilderness and
that both St. Anthony and St. Matthew died on. Some believe it to be
the first cross made by man and that Christ died on this form with a
slight extension above the horizontal bar.
Symbolism:
The Tau Cross represents the penitence and prophecy.

"Remembrance"
Origin: The Cross Fer-de-Fourchette is
unquestionably a heraldic form. It's name stems from the forked
irons on which soldiers of long ago rested their muskets.
Symbolism: Giving Thanks. The Bread
and the Cup represent The Lord's Supper (Holy Communion). "In, with,
and under" the bread and the cup (wine) we receive Christ's body and
blood through a sacramental union. Through this sacrament, a means
of grace, the Holy Spirit nourishes faith in believers.

Origin: The Cross Four Ermine Spots is
chiefly used as decorative forms of embroidery and printing. It was

Symbolism: The Five-Pointed Star is a
Messianic symbol, 17"...A star will come out of
Jacob; ..." Numbers 24:17; 16"...I am the
Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning
Star." Revelation 22:16. The Rose of Sharon is also a
Messianic symbol, and The Alpha and Omega refer to Christ as the
Eternal One.

embedded within the Cross Botonnee fashion fifty (50) Diamond Eye
Stitches representing the fifty states of the United States of
America.

"The Great Physician"
I designed this cross as a
Christmas gift for my brother-in-law, Gene Hayes, to whom I dedicate
it to. Thank you, Gene, for the prayers lifted on our
behalf. Also, thank you for allowing opportunities that helped
us make ends meet and for making me feel that I could accomplish
anything. You are more of a blessing and healer to me than you
may realize; God BLess you. And, most of all, Praise God
from all blessings flow.

forgiveness of sins...
This design was
inspired by my loving, supportive husband. This verse has
touched him deeply as he uses it on his Faith Team through our
church, to minister to and help others.
